Alyce Miller is the author of three books of fiction, and more than 200 stories, essays, poems, reviews, and articles in numerous magazines, including Ploughshares, Michigan Quarterly Review, Glimmer Train, Iowa Review, La Petite Zine, etc. Her work has been awarded the Flannery O'Connor Award for Fiction, the Lawrence Prize, the Kenyon Review Award for Literary Excellence in Fiction, and the Mary McCarthy Prize in Short Fiction, as well as distinguished citations and honorable mentions in Pushcart Prize Anthology, Best American Short Stories, Best American Essays, O.
